Under the Australian Consumer Law, we do not have to give a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind about a product. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major problem with a product covered by Consumer Guarantees.
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
1. Value Village will allow a return where you have changed your mind, provided that the item in question is:
- returned within 14 days of receiving the order;
- as new and is not used, worn, or opened and has all original packaging and tags intact (including any package seals (if any) being unbroken);
- in a resalable condition; and
- not damaged in any way.
2. We cannot accept change of mind returns on items that come in sealed packages or boxes where seals are damaged or broken.
3. You will be responsible for the cost and risk of returning goods, including the cost of return shipping. If the item is not received by Value Village you will not be eligible for a return.
4. You may be provided with a refund only when the returned product is received, and it complies with the requirements outlined above.
5. If the returned item does not meet the conditions of this policy, you will be responsible for the cost of receiving your returned goods back to your nominated address.
Address Change:
If you enter the incorrect name or shipping details and the item is returned to us via Australia Post, you will be subject to a return-to-sender fee if we are unable to change the details before despatch, as well as a reshipping fee (dependent on the item's weight). We are not responsible for these changes if there is a mistake entered by the customer.
Shipping:
We will endeavour to deliver the goods to your nominated delivery address within the time specified and orders are dispatched within 24 hours. We are not liable for any losses incurred due to regular post-delays.
These times are calculated from the time we ship your order. Standard Postage – 5 to 7 business days. Express post - this will take 1 to 3 business days for metro areas and up to 5 business days for regional areas.
INCORRECT OR FAULTY GOODS
Our quality control teams do inspect all deliveries to ensure the products you receive meet our exact quality standards. However, if you do receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us to arrange a return delivery and a refund or exchange. The return must be received by Value Village within 30 days.
