VTech Genio My First Laptop safely introduces children to the world of computers and the Internet.

Genio is a laptop designed by VTech to help children aged 5-10 safely develop computer literacy, and make the transition much easier once they are old enough for the real thing. A kid-friendly Web Browser is pre-installed, so you can enjoy peace of mind while your little one searches for more information to help with their homework online.

All VTech tablets, laptops and handheld devices include time limit controls which can be used to set the amount of time your child is allowed to play on the device, or to mark certain areas of the day as off-limits. This feature can be found in the Parent Settings/Settings menu and is a recommended option.

Genio includes 80+ activities and games to play using the real mouse and QWERTY keyboard. It also has a pre-loaded word processor that allows children to create their own documents - including templates that allow them to create greetings cards, letters and more. They can export and save documents to a microSD card (not included) for printing, which enables them to print homework or their own stories. The laptop also includes 20 printable revision sheets that will help them study maths, language, history and more. It can also be used to play music and videos, or enjoy the 40+ games and e-books included.
