One of the most popular vocal groups of all time, The Ink Spots, formed in the 1930's, helped to define the rhythm & blues genre which eventually morphed into rock n' roll and doo-wop. Versions of the original group recorded extensively from the mid-1930's through the mid 1960's and appeared on radio and television frequently. The group also extensively and headlined large shows and became favorites of the Las Vegas show crowd.
