The SmallRig Sony FX6 Camera Cage is lightweight, compact, and designed to attach accessories and provide protection. It consists of a top plate, a V-mount battery plate, a side plate, a baseplate, and a power cable. Overall, the kit fits in well with Sony FX6 in terms of the design appearance, and color. Among these parts, the rear V-mount battery plate together with the power cable attaches the battery for an extra power source for prolonged operating time. It can be slid up and locked to facilitate memory card replacement and BP-U battery installation. The removable side plate, when mounted near the back, leaves room for the original handle and supports the microphone, image transmitter, etc.; and, when mounted near the front, helps balance the camera in vertical shooting.
