How can we measure our environmental impact on our planet? Tailwhip Eco Evo marks an essential first step in Northwave's commitment to making a more environmentally responsible contribution. Our dedication is apparent in both the values of the sport we love and support, as well as in quantifiable data. Tailwhip Eco Evo is our debut cycling shoe with a significant sustainable impact of 53.34%.

The sole of this shoe, made with 26% ReRubber, recycled pre-consumer rubber chips, incorporates a specially developed Michelin-Northwave compound to deliver exceptional pedal grip.

RePET is derived from recycled PET bottles collected from consumers. Using recycled polyester results in substantial reductions in CO2 emissions compared to using virgin materials and helps address the problem of plastic pollution in landfills and oceans.

ReRubber reduces the demand for newly extracted fossil materials by combining recycled rubber chips from post-production with virgin rubber, all while maintaining performance and durability.

ReFoam represents a technological breakthrough that brings us closer to the ultimate goal of achieving zero waste. This foam is composed of post-production waste materials and water-based glue.
