A very unusual poverty row film with slight fantasy elements near film's end. Johann is Nora Moran, a pretty young gal with a sordid past, who finds herself sentenced to death for murder. An energetic reporter gets a chance to investigate a series of arson-set fires. In a strange twist, a wealthy businessman, the mayor, and the police chief all fall under suspicion. Lots of twists and turns in this very entertaining poverty row goodie.
