Learn To Read Rapidly With Phonics: Beginner Reader Book 1: A fun, colour in phonic reading scheme.

A new revolutionary phonic reading scheme. Learn To Read With Phonics teaches reading rapidly, in as little as six months PROVEN! Children love reading about the humorous adventures of Sam and his friends. They hardly realise that within each fun story are disguised phonic sounds. Learning to read with Guinea Pig has never been so easy or so much fun. This exciting scheme has been written by a teacher and tutor catering for the needs of the children she teaches. The scheme works well with young children starting out on reading. At the same time, it is ideal for older children who have failed to reach targets in literacy, for those who have experienced particular learning difficulties or where English is a second language. This scheme helps the student catch up fast. Beginner Reader Books 1-6 are a structured course that systematically introduces new sounds, each one building on the ones that went before. Book 1 teaches blends like frog and milk and 'ck' syllable words. The child is encouraged to read each sound chapter several times and to learn the words using the matching activities with the help of an adult. When he or she is familiar with the material they can move on.

About the Author

Sally Jones is a qualified teacher with over thirty years experience of teaching in the classroom and as a private tutor. She runs a successful private tuition business in Surrey, teaching children from 5-17 years. Sally began writing her own educational material to teach English, as a direct result of tutoring children on a one to one basis. She became aware that there was a gap in the retail market of teaching resources that would cater for the specific needs of her pupils. This need gave birth to her creative writing books, which provide reluctant writers with starting points to get them writing. More than this, she realised there was a need for English activities that stretched more able children, for those with special educational needs or where English is a foreign language. Amanda Jones graduated from a Surrey University in English Language And Linguistics and went on to complete an MA in English and Sociology. Her love of writing began in her teens when she submitted projects to win the title of Young Environmentalist of The Year on three occasions.
