Recorded between 1900 and 1902, presented here are the historic first recordings of the legendary Italian tenor and key pioneer in the field of recorded music, Enrico Caruso. Caruso set a standard with his singular singing style, and influenced almost all subsequent tenors in the Italian and French operatic repertoires. Caruso made more than 260 existing recordings over a 16 year span, and made a record 863 appearances at the New York Metropolitan Opera. 30 tracks, all selections newly re-mastered.
