Togo (or Toga or Togo Striped) eggplants are small and oblong, measuring approximately 2cm in diameter. The skin is shiny, smooth, orange and yellow with distinctive green stripes. The flesh is firm & pale green.

Striped Toga is a pure strain of the African type, used as both an edible and an ornamental plant with fruits that are said to be sweet and delicious, although some describe them as being a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Togo eggplants, also known as "garden eggs," grow in clusters on bushy perennial plants. These plants have large green leaves and white or yellow flowers. Maturity in 12-13 weeks from transplant.
