Tattoos are more popular than ever. Therefore many books about the art form and the associated cultures are published. While some focus on the artists, the tattooists from Holland have never been documented together in a bona fide book. Dutch Tattoo Studios fills that void, by portraying 30 renowned artists and their work. Colourful characters from the older generation, such as Greg Orie, and the ones who followed in their footsteps, for instance Rob Admiral. They all share an unrelenting love for their craft, but each of them has different preferences, in tattooing as well as in life.
