A Singular Voice

A Singular Voice is the first collection of essays by Joan Kerr, controversial and popular Australian art and architecture scholar, historian, curator, feminist and public speaker. The essays are wide-ranging, covering colonial architecture, contemporary Aboriginal art, the forgotten and marginalised of Australian art and craft, and the importance of art in everyday life. Collected from 30 years of Kerr's writing, A Singular Voice embodies a history of changing attitudes to Australian art and architecture.
