Kyocera's knives and peelers are made with advanced, high tech zirconium oxide; a pure, dense, and unrelenting material that is 50% harder than steel. The blade edges on Kyocera Knives and peelers hold a sharp edge longer than steel, but are lightweight in the hand, making them easy and comfortable to hold.

The knives are dishwasher safe on the top rack only, and the cutting board and peeler are handwash only.

Please note, the knives in this set are made of ceramic. Ceramic knives should not be used to cut anything hard. Do not use your ceramic knives to cut through bone/frozen meats, through fruit stones (like Avocado pits). or to pry things open (cans, jars etc).
