Duran Duran is an English new wave band formed in Birmingham in 1978. Establishing themselves as innovators in the music video space, they achieved 'Beatlemania' levels of fame by 1984, before topping the charts in 1985 with the hit 'A View to A Kill' from the James Bond film of the same name. To date, they've sold over 100 million records, achieving over 30 top-40 singles, and winning numerous awards throughout their career. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
