Water is life for all of us and for Aboriginal people it represents provision for the necessities of life. Depicting wetlands, rivers, reefs and our Island home, this series pays tribute to a long and deep connection with Country and the many variations of waterways it offers.
This design is a tapestry of songlines highlighting the many well-known waterways, interwoven throughout journey trails and trade routes, travelled over generations.
